A former local NBC television host, TV producer and Founder of a non-profit video production company, Earth Vision Productions, Ashley has served on the County Commission on the Status of Women for 11 years. She has been active in producing the Women's Hall of Fame since 2002. As Director she oversees the operations of the museum in all aspects and works closely with museum Board and volunteers.
A
recent graduate of San Diego State University, Leanne majored
in Social Science with an emphasis in History and Minored in
Women's Studies. She gained a large amount of knowledge about
the Women's Museum as a result of a semester-long Internship at the museum through
the Women's Studies Department at SDSU. She is also a member of the SDSU Alumni
Association.
A San Diego native, Ginger was trained in the Museum Studies Department at Mesa College. Her work at the museum includes the initiation of a new data base program, management of collections lists & incoming donations and oversees volunteers as they work in and around the archives.
Sue has
been active in the museum's development since
the early days with Mary Maschal. She is currently
the Academic Senate President at Grossmont Community College and teaches
in the History Dept. at GrossmontCC and is adjunct in the Women's Studies
Dept. at SDSU. She specializes in Early American and American Women's
History and has published articles, chapters and book reviews.
Matthew is a librarian with the San Diego City Public Library. Along with his role as a librarian, he has combined his degrees in History and Library Science to work as an archivist in their Morgan Local History Room. He was also the librarian for the Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego. Matthew has written for the Journal San Diego of History and is the co-author of the book "Early National City."
Li Huai received her BA in fine arts at the Beijing Film Academy and her MFA in art at the California Institute of the Arts. Born in China and living in California, Li constantly uses elements from both cultures and juxtaposing them to express her artistic talents, creating art that touches upon both the East and the West. Extending her artistic talents, Li is also a film producer. Li's specialties include installation, painting, drawing, mixed media, and Chinese calligraphy and brush painting. Her work has been in group exhibitions in various national and international venues.

His broad based experience includes the use, programming, and maintenance of the PC through its application as a primary development platform, analysis tool, and communications vehicle.
A writer, speaker and research psychologist, Anne has written and presented extensively on women's health, women in the military, domestic violence, alcohol abuse, health promotion, workman's compensation cost containment, stress-related disease and role of military in society. She is the former president of the United Nations Association of San Diego and is currently the President and CEO of the International Museum of Human Rights at San Diego. Anne has been recognized as a global activist working on women's rights.
After earning her
doctorate in Philosophy at the University of Washington in the early seventies, Dr.
Harris recognized the relevance to the women's movement of assertive behavior
therapy. In 1975 she and co-author Susan M Osborn M.S.W. published the first
book on the subject: Assertive Training for Women. Between 1975-1980 Dr. Harris
taught Assertive Training for Women workshops based on her book in over
seventy-five federal agencies throughout the United States. Her work was so
ground breaking that the New York Times, Washington Post, and the San Francisco
Examiner featured articles about her workshops. In May 1977, People Magazine
recognized her work in a five page article titled, "Psychologist Tells Women How to Speak Up."

Group. She recently served as the consultant for Sustainable San Diego
where she formed the collaborative of 40 agencies to address the
implementation of the Sustainable Communities Strategy. Her area of
expertise is in affordable housing and homelessness policy. She was a
consultant to United Way SD to oversee the development, writing and
approval process for the Plan to End Chronic Homelessness in the San Diego
Region. She has provided consultant services for many years in San Diego
County and has an established reputation for capacity building skills and an
emphasis on obtainable outcomes and goals. She also served as Associate
Director of Heritage Clinic that works with older adults with serious mental illness at risk of homelessness. Ms. Cohen provides leadership on a variety of committees to address housing and homeless in the region including the board of Housing CA, the Mental Health Services Housing Council -chair, the Mental Health Coalition-Policy Committee chair, Mental Health America board- chair of the Policy/Advocacy Committee. She is a board member of Recovery Innovations Inc. Ms. Cohen has 25 years of experience in housing policy and development issues.
Elected to the National City Council in 2008, Alejandra is currently
serving her 1st term as Vice Mayor. As the Director of the UC San Diego Community
Law Project she works with undergraduate students who are pursuing careers in
Law and Public Policy. She oversees student recruitment, department budget,
establishes and maintains relationships with community-based organizations and
law schools across the Nation. Alejandra was formerly the Community Relations
Coordinator for the UC San Diego Chancellor's Office. She was the primary support
for the Board of Overseers, which is an advisory group to the Chancellor and works
on strengthening relationships with community groups, businesses, and other civic
organizations. Previously, Alejandra served as District Director for San Diego
Assembly Member Lori Saldaņa.

She has represented clients in matters involving various state and federal environmental laws and has extensive experience in federal civil procedure. She is a member of the Environmental Law and Business Law sections of the State Bar of California, the USD Law Alumni Association, the San Diego County Bar Association and a former member of the Women's Law Caucus.
Mollie is a retired school
teacher who remains active in the Retired Teachers'
Association. She has been a museum supporter
since 1997 when the organization first moved to Golden Hill. In the past
Mollie has assisted in the Museum's literary outreach programs and
connecting with the Chicano population in our Golden Hill neighborhood. She
is currently fulfilling a second term as a Board Member, continues to be a
liaison to the community and captures many photographs at museum
events.
A native of Wilmington, DE, Bob is a U.S. Naval Academy graduate and served in the Navy for 20 years. He currently works for L-3 Communications, running computer training systems for the Navy in Point Loma. Bob is also very active in the San Diego community and serves on several non-profit boards, councils & committees as well as participates in various hands-on volunteer projects. He is a LEAD San Diego Impact graduate and has received numerous awards including the President's Call to Service Award for attaining 4,000 hours.
Elected to the State Senate in 2004 and re-elected in 2008, Kehoe represents the 39th Senate District which includes much of San Diego, the cities of Del Mar and Lemon Grove.
Former Congress Member, Saldana is currently an instructor at San Diego State University in the Women's Studies Department teaching, "Sex, Power & Politics" to upper division students.
Marketing industry expert, professor, author, and international speaker, Felena leads and consults for a variety of organizations that focus on helping women in business such as "Ladies Who Launch" and more recently the founder of Hera Hub, assisting women starting in entrepreneurial ventures.
Founder of "Athena", the organization for women technology executives and entrepreneurs at UCSD now oversees "Run Women Run", an organization focused on assisting women to enter the political arena.
Her career in international development, with the U.S. government based in Washington, DC and with the United Nations based in Paris has taken her to 148 countries. She was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana, served as Peace Corps Director in Cameroon, and has carried out projects for agencies including the World Bank and UNICEF.
