The mission of the Women’s Museum of California is to educate and inspire current and future generations about the experiences and contributions of women by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the evidence of that experience. The commitment of the Education and Outreach Program is to further the mission of the Museum by offering a variety of programs designed for use in schools, libraries, and organizations as well as events hosted at the museum.

The education programs at the Women's Museum provides group tours, speakers, workshops, films, and a wide variety of events centered around the history of the Museum, Women, and our Museum Exhibits.
Project Reach Out
Founded by a generous donation from Natasha Josefowitz, this project focuses on our outreach into K-12 schools and libraries through the installation of educational exhibits, performances, and workshops focusing on the accomplishments and experiences of women.
Museum In the Community
The Women's Museum brings our education programs into the community by installing traveling exhibits, sharing the knowledge of women's history with our dynamic group of women who serve as our Speaker's Bureau, and experiencing the evolving timeline of women's fashion during our Vintage Clothing Shows.
