Join us this month as we welcome photographer, JENNIFER GEORGE, to the Museum Gallery. EXPOSING SCARS explores the inner damage that results from violence against women. The artistic process of Jennifer George begins with interviews of abuse victims and then creating an image to represent the lingering trauma.

Though education and art, Art Inspiring Change, a nonprofit organization by the photographic artist Jennifer George attempts to open the dialog to change and prevention of violence against women. Ms. George states; “As a photographic artist, I have worked on this project for several years in hopes it will educate and change the cultural climate regarding our acceptance of violence against women in any form, be it verbal, emotional, psychological or physical.”

Visit JENNIFER GEORGE online to learn more about her work. http://www.artinspiringchange.org/
