The Women’s Museum of California Internship Program


"Our mission is to educate and inspire present and future generations about the experiences and contributions of women by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the evidence of that experience"




 We seek qualified candidates to assist in a wide range of museum operations at our new space situated within NTC Liberty Station, San Diego. We offer a number of projects that can offer the candidate experience in Educational Outreach and Development, Museum Library & Archives, Marketing, Event Coordination, and Exhibition Preparation & Production. 

Internships require a commitment of 120 hours. If candidates are seeking school credit, it is important that candidates check with affiliate institutions and meet organizations’ requirements as well. 

We welcome students of all majors! Specialization within the following majors are preferred including; History, Museum Studies, Women’s Studies, Library Science, Marketing, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Education, and Event Planning.
