The Women’s Museum of California Internship Program

Applications for Summer Internships due April 30, 2017.

We seek qualified candidates to assist in a wide range of museum operations. We offer a number of projects that can offer the candidate experience in Educational Outreach and Development, Museum Library & Archives, Marketing, Event Coordination, and Exhibition Preparation & Production. 

Internships require a minimum commitment of 120 hours and 10 weeks. If your school's internship requirements are less than the Museum's internal minimum, please disclose the required hours and timeframe in your application. If candidates are seeking school credit, it is important that candidates check with affiliate institutions and meet organizations’ requirements as well. 

We welcome students of all majors! Specialization within the following majors are preferred including; History, Museum Studies, Women’s Studies, Library Science, Marketing, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Education, and Event Planning.
