Starla Lewis is a brilliant woman who for the past 40 years has committed herself to bridging, unifying and empowering multi-culturally diverse communities. As a professor of Black Studies, poet, author, and life mastery consultant, Starla Lewis has helped thousands of people recognize their own greatness. She has taught at San Diego Mesa College for over twenty years, where she served as Department Chair for eleven years. Starla is the founder of C.E.L.L (Celebration of Everlasting Love and Life) a human potential consultancy firm, where she has worked for thirty years as a life mastery coach. Through teaching people how to share compassion, love, mutual respect and understanding, her work has helped to bridge the human family. It is for these reasons that she is being inducted into the San Diego Women’s Hall of Fame as a Bridge Builder.
