On August 26, 1920, the 19th Amendment was certified as part of our Constitution, assuring that ‘the right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.’

The observance of Women’s Equality Day not only commemorates the passage of the 19th Amendment, but also calls attention to women’s continuing efforts toward securing full equality into the future.

Panel Discussion – 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
The program will highlight the status of gender equality and voting rights in our community through a conversation with dynamic women leaders.​
